More sad news for ‘90s R&B group Hi-Five.
According to reports, member Russell Neal is in police custody after notifying police that his wife was dead inside their apartment.
According to TMZ, Neal went to the local police station in Houston, TX and told cops he and his wife had gotten into an argument on Wednesday… then he reportedly clammed up and asked for an attorney. He is currently being detained, but no charges have been filed.
“We are aware of the situation and are presently evaluating it,” Hi-Five’s lawyer told TMZ.
News of death surrounding the group follows lead singer Tony Thompson, who died in 2007 after inhaling Freon.
