The rumor mill is in overload on the possibility that Beyonce may have outed her husband Jay Z for cheating.
Speculation began after the power couple’s “On the Run” tour in Cincinnati, Ohio, over the weekend when Beyonce took the stage solo in a white wedding dress and performed the song “Resentment.”
What makes this rumor worthy is that she changed words in the song, which she recorded in 2006 for her album B’Day.
Bey changed the below lyrics:
“I know she was attractive but I was here first
Been ridin’ with you for six years why did I deserve
To be treated this way by you, you.”
To:
“I know she was attractive but I was here first
Been ridin’ with you for twelve years why did I deserve
To be treated this way by you, you.”
The 12 years is the key here, especially since the couple has been reportedly dating since 2002.
Beyonce is usually private, so we’re not sure this is related to her marriage, but sometimes people need new shoulders to vent on…this time 42,000 of them.
